Journaliste Afghan, Khosraw MANI est diplômé en sciences politique et juridique à l’université de Kaboul. Une fois ses études achevées, il a commencé à travailler pour Radio Free Europe. Il était notamment en charge de l’écriture des reportages d’investigation, ainsi que de la transmission des informations. En 2012, du fait de menaces reçues de la part des Taliban, il a décidé de quitter la radio pour travailler en freelance avec la presse papier.

MANI a écrit plusieurs essais et articles sur les problèmes sociaux, politiques et culturels pour différents magazines et périodiques tel que BBC Persian website, Mandegar Daily News et 8am. En parallèle de son travail de journaliste, il a aussi été un écrivain actif, ayant publié quatre romans depuis 2010.
Depuis son arrivée en France, M. MANI travaille sur un nouveau roman en anglais à propos de sa ville natale, Kaboul. Le livre traite d’une période assez longue, qui s’étend de la première guerre anglo-afghane de 1839 à l’arrivée des Taliban au pouvoir. Ce travail est une critique de l’histoire de son pays. Outre cela, il améliore son français avec l’aide de certaines organisations à Paris.

An Afghani journalist, Khosraw Mani received his degree in political and legal science from the University of Kabul. Once he finished his studies, he began to work for Radio Free Europe. He was notably in charge of writing investigative reports and the transmission of information. In 2012, after receiving threats from the Taliban, he decided to quit job at the radio station for a freelance position with a newspaper.
More: Mr. Mani wrote several essays and articles on the social, political and cultural problems for various magazines and periodicals, such as BBC Persian website, Mandegar Daily News and 8am. Alongside his work as a journalist, he is also an active writer, having published four novels since 2010.
Since his arrival in France, Mr. Mani working on a new novel in English about his hometown, Kabul. The book covers a long period, which extends from the First Anglo-Afghan War of 1839 to the arrival of the Taliban to power. This work is a critique of the history of his country. Besides that, he is improving his French with the help of some organizations in Paris.
