The slogan Jin, Jiyan, Azadî (Woman, Life, Freedom), widely used in Iran in 2023, originated with the Kurdish liberation movement, which has been fighting for more than 40 years against exploitation and oppression by Syria, Iraq, Turkey, and Iran, as well as for the liberation of women.
