Behzad Qayoumzada est né en 1986, à Panjchir, Afghanistan.

Après des études universitaires, il a commencé ses activités journalistiques en 2007, en collaborant avec les médias afghans, notamment Mash’ale Omid, Vije rouz. Et cela pour les rubriques politique, culture et société. Il est aussi membre de l’association nationale des journalistes afghans.

Le plus : Il a participé au lancement de l’institut de publication de Mash’ale  Omid et a appartenu au cercle des écrivains et des journalistes afghans. Il a dirigé l’institut Khorshid Film Production en 2008 et 2009, collaborant avec différents réalisateurs de film.

Passionné par le cinéma et le théâtre, riche de nombreuses expériences dans ces domaines, il collabore artistiquement avec l’institut Pierre Curry depuis 2012.
