Rahima NooriRahima Noori est une journaliste afghane et activiste des droits des femmes, âgée de 29 ans. Elle est diplômée en sciences sociales de l’Université de Kaboul et s’est formée en journalisme avec la Deutsche Welle Akademie. Elle a démarré sa carrière professionnelle en tant qu’éditrice dans un bureau de presse international et productrice à la RTA (radio et télévision publique afghane) sous l’égide de la Deutsche Welle Akademie jusqu’en 2007. Elle a également travaillé au Parlement en aidant à la rédaction de rapports sur la santé dans les provinces d’Afghanistan et au Ministère de l’Intérieur pendant quatre ans, chargée de promouvoir le développement des cartes d’identité électroniques. Parallèlement à ses activités journalistiques, elle s’est engagée auprès de l’organisation Women for Women international dont l’objectif est de veiller à l’indépendance des femmes en leur permettant de se former dans l’artisanat, l’élevage de chèvre ou l’apiculture.

Le plus : Rahima Noori a créé sa propre organisation de promotion des droits des femmes afghanes appelée ROZAN et basée à Kaboul.

Aujourd’hui Rahima Noori étudie le français à l’Université de Nanterre et réalise un mémoire sur le harcèlement sexuel au travail en Afghanistan dans le cadre d’une formation sur le genre, la politique et la sexualité à l’Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) à Paris.

Rahima Noori, 29 year old, is an afghan journalist and a women’s rights activist. She graduated in Social sciences from Kabul University and was formed in journalism with the Deutsche Welle Akademie. She began her professional career as an editor in an international desk of press and as a producer at the RTA (Afghan radio and public channel) under the aegis of the Deutsche Welle Akademie, until 2007. She also worked for the Parliament by helping the editorial staff on reports about health in the Afghan provinces and for the Ministry of Interior during four years to promote the development of the electronic identity cards. In the meanwhile, she made a commitment with the international organization Women for Women whose objective is to watch the independence of women by allowing them to have a training in crafts, farming or beekeeping.

More : Rahima Noori created her own organization to promote the Afghan women’s rights called ROZAN and based in Kabul.

Today, Rahima Noori studies French at the University of Nanterre and realizes a report on the sexual harassment at work in Afghanistan within the framework of a formation on genre, politics and sexuality at the French school for Advanced studies in Social Sciences (EHESS) in Paris.
