Mariam Mana est née en 1987 en Iran. Partie vivre en Afghanistan avec sa famille à la fin de ses études secondaires, elle a par la suite étudié les Sciences Politiques à l’Université de Kateb à Kaboul. Elle a tout d’abord travaillé pour l’association Marie Stopes International, une ONG qui promeut la santé sexuelle et reproductive, dans laquelle elle a dirigé le pôle communication et média. Elle a ensuite travaillé pour l’ONG Afghan Relief Organization, dans l’humanitaire, puis pour l’Afghanistan Independant Bar Association, une association de droit afghane, pour laquelle elle était chef de projet. Elle a accumulé quatre ans d’expérience en tant que journaliste et productrice de programmes radios, en travaillant par exemple pour la radio musicale Salam Watandar, pour laquelle elle était en charge du développement des programmes. Elle a aussi été contributrice régulière pour le journal quotidien 8 am daily.
Le plus : Mariam Mana a collaboré à la première édition du Festival du cinéma Afghan des Droits de l’Homme pour lequel elle a occupé le poste de directrice exécutive.
Depuis son arrivée en France début 2015, Mariam apprend la culture française et sa langue. Elle continue activement d’écrire.

Mariam Mana was born in 1987 in Iran. She left for Afghanistan with her family at the end of high school and started to study Political Sciences at Kateb University in Kaboul.
She has worked for the non profit organization Marie Stopes International, which promotes sexual and reproductive health, in which she was at the head of the communication and media department.
She then worked as a project manager for the non profit humanitarian organization Afghan Relief Organization, and for the Independent Bar Association, which deals with Afghan law.
She has four years of experience as a journalist and producer for the radio. She worked for the musical radio Salam Watandar, as a monitoring and evaluation officer. She has also been a regular columnist for the daily newspaper 8 am daily.

Since she arrived in France at the beginning of 2015, Mariam is learning French and the French culture. She keeps on writing actively.
