unnamed (2)Journaliste-blogueur centrafricain, Johnny Vianney BISSAKONOU a quitté son pays à cause des menaces de la Seleka (la coalition rebelle qui a pris le pouvoir en Centrafrique le 24 Mars 2013) qui estime qu’il la diabolise et ternit l’image du pays. Car M. Bissakonou dénonçait régulièrement les exactions perpétrées par cette coalition sur la population civile, que ça soit sur son blog, dans les interviews accordées à des médias internationaux ou dans les rencontres à l’échelle internationale. Johnny Bissakonou a longtemps travaillé pour Radio Ndèkè-luka, une station de la fondation hirondelle en Centrafrique, ensuite il travaille pour « Invisible Children » en tant que Coordonnateur national des médias.

Le plus: Il a reçu le prix du meilleur magazine de lutte contre le sida en milieu jeune lors du Forum Régional des Jeunes de la CEMAC en lutte contre le Sida (FREJES) à Yaoundé au Cameroun 2009.

Johnny Vianney Bissakonou left his country because of threats by the Seleka (the rebellion coalition that took power in Centrafrique on March 24, 2013) who believed that he demonized and tarnished the country’s image, because Mr. Bissakonou regularly denounced the atrocities committed by that coalition on the civilian population on his blog, in interviews given to international media, or in meetings at the international level. Johnny Bissakonou worked for a long time for Radio Ndèkè-luka, a station of the Fondation Hirondelle in Centrafrique, then he worked for “Invisible Children” as the national media coordinator.

More: He received the prize for the best magazine in the fight against AIDS in the youth environment during the Regional Youth Forum of CEMAC in the Fight against AIDS (FREJES) in Yaoundé, Cameroun 2009.

Johnny Bissakonou is of the “100 Heroes of Information” of Reporters Without Borders for the year 2014.
