Les faits sont survenus à Rouen le 12 février en marge d’une manifestation des gilets jaunes. Plusieurs journalistes de la chaine d’information en continue LCI avaient été pris à partie. Les images de l’agression ont tourné en boucle le 12 Février à Rouen. Lors de l’acte IX du mouvement des gilets jaunes, plusieurs journalistes de LCI ont été pris à partie par des manifestants et, un agent de sécurité qui accompagnait l’équipe a été roué de coups.
Une plainte avait été déposée et le parquet de Rouen avait ouvert une enquête préliminaire. Mercredi dernier, six hommes ont été placés en garde à vue.
“Les six hommes âgés de 20 à 60 ans, ont été interpellés et placés en garde à vue ce matin“, a indiqué une source policière.
“Quatre d’entre eux sont domiciliés dans l’agglomération rouennaise, les deux autres habitent l’Eure et l’Orne, a ajouté cette source policière, confirmant une information de Paris Normandie.”
Les auteurs présumés de l’agression ont sympathisé lors des différentes manifestations de gilets jaunes à Rouen. “Certains d’entre eux sont connus des services de police pour des infractions à la législation sur les stupéfiants ou des violences légères“, a détaillé une source policière.”
“Nous sommes parvenus à les identifier grâce à un important travail d’exploitation de vidéos, notamment sur internet.“
Toutes les violences contre des journalistes doivent être condamnées comme l’ont dénoncé la Maison des journalistes et Reporters sans frontières.
Sur la vidéo tournée par le journal, on distinguait un des deux agents de sécurité, embauchés par la chaîne pour protéger l’équipe de deux journalistes avant de se faire frappés à coups de poing et de pied provoquant une fracture du nez.
Thierry Thuiller, patron de l’information du groupe TF1, avait condamnés “avec la plus grande fermeté cet acte“.
Le ministre de la culture Franck Riester avait lui dénoncé sur Twitter un “ignoble lynchage“.

Oui ! En France, la liberté d’expression est encadrée par la loi contrairement à d’autres cieux comme la République Démocratique du Congo, l’Egypte, l’Afghanistan, le Soudan…
On peut tout dire, tant que cela respecte les lois du pays. Ceux qui se sentent offensés peuvent alors se retourner vers les tribunaux en lieu et place d’agresser ces hommes de médias qui font un travail énorme à la recherche de l’information. La justice est indépendante et rendue au nom du peuple !
La semaine précédente ces violences, une équipe de BFM TV et leurs agents de sécurité avaient déjà essuyé des coups. En réponse, le service reportages de la chaîne avait refusé de couvrir différentes actions des gilets jaunes.
