Une mort masquée ? L’accusation est lourde : bavure policière ayant entrainée la mort. Selon la famille du défunt, c’est un assassinat.
Enterré les personnes sans autopsie : cette pratique est monnaie courante en Mauritanie. Ne sachant pas les causes du décès, chacun peut donner libre cours à son imagination.
Et cette pratique ne concerne pas seulement les citoyens lambdas.
Par exemple, l’ancien Président de la transition, Ely Ould Mohamed Vall, décédé le 5 mai 2017 à Zouerate, officiellement par crise cardiaque selon les autorités, n’a pas convaincu sa famille.
Les demandes d’autopsie sont refusées. Personne ne peut se convaincre de la mort avec certitude de l’ancien patron de la police sans une autopsie. Conséquence, la rumeur accuse l’actuel Président, cousin de ce dernier, d’être à l’origine de ce malheur.
